Dan Knight is clearly an ambitious songwriter, forcefully blending psychedelic rock, new age and contemporary folk in order to convey his message with an alarming intensity. His ethereal guitar-reverb style, frankly, wouldn't be out of place on a token dream pop album, but he balances it well with dreamy background vocals and an alarmingly advanced production quality (especially for a private press record).
