Marianne Nyman & Mikael Wiik - Guitar, Keyboards, Recorders, Bass & Vocals

Leif Kiviharju - Bass

Ronnie Osterberg - Drums, Percussion

Pekka Poyry - Soprano Saxophone, Flute

Finnish duo of musicians/singers Marianne Nyman and Mikael Wiik, assisted by bassist Leif Kiviharju, Wigwam's drummer Ronnie Österberg and Tasavallan Presidentti's saxophonist/flutist Pekka Pöyry.Musically somewhere between Folk and soft Progressive Rock with good instrumental sections and even some light jazzy/bluesy flavors.Nice vocal harmonies and clean instrumentation with great bass work, mellow flute, calm keyboards and controlled acoustic/electric sections. It lacks some dynamics, that is for sure, but the arrangements are detailed and definitely above your average Rock album. The duo produced another 2 singles towards the end of the 80's.

Totaly obscure one shot wonder from Argentina named Eternidad with their one and only album released in octobre 1977 named Apertura after that disbanded a year later gone into oblivion. Eternidad offer a kind of prog folk with some fusion elements and some symphonic traces here and there, only sporadicaly but exists, but the main part is a folk band very much similar in places with Los Jaivas or Horizonte.

Magne Hoyland - Lead Vocals

Sveinung Sand - Violin

The album had all the right ingredients for a real progrock album in the 70s ... long, improvisational solos, multi-thematic compositions, performances of classical and folk, parties with electric violin and drum solos. The lyrics was both in Norwegian and English and some of them collected by the poets Oscar Wilde and Hans Børli. The band dissolved in 1977. Anders Bru startet Stavangerensemblet. Mange Høyland appeared in both Asfalt and Wasaband and Bjørn Aslaksen in Løgnaslaget and Ryfylke Visegruppe.

A private press tape from this Mexican group that released one album in the eighties ..... very mellow symphonic prog sound with a strong folk influence.  NIRGAL (NIRGAL VALLIS) was the first group of Jose Luis Fernandez Ledesma, who is one of the most-known Mexican progressive musicians nowadays. He has released many solo albums and also albums in contribution with singer/composer Alquimia.

Tome Kitagawa - Percussion, Vocals
Kimio Mizutani - Guitar

This album "Hikishio Michishio" was released after "'Kirikyogen" by KUNI KAWACHI TOKARE NO TOMODACHI. Contrary to 'Kirikyogen' with strong taste of Flowers (Joe and Hideki), "Hikishio Michishio" should be Kuni's album, with full of his concept and attitude for progressive rock all over the world. 1971 was absolutely a dawn, golden year for Japanese progressive rock scene - Flower Travellin' Band's "Satori", Speed Glue and Shinki's "Eve", Love Live Life + One, People, and this one were released one by one - and the most beautiful and most plaintive album of these all should be this HAPPENINGS' last one I do emphasize. Also amazing that Kuni's psychedelically tragic organ keeps making dramatic sounds from start to finish ... not straightly but eccentrically.
