The Underground Failure album is best known for showing the unusual talent of John Holm for the first time. Only a year later, he released the classic ”Sordin” which properly launched his irregular and often intriguing solo career. Other members also became well known although not as musicians. Lasse Ermalm became a record cover designer on many a label's payrolls, and Stefan Wermelin later on became one of Sweden's most prominent radio producers.

She channels the spirit of Anne Murray and sings tales of Springhill. She grew up in Alberton, just outside Hamilton, Ontario, and at a tender age, she recorded two albums in 1974-75, including "Country Downs." Then, she resurfaced in 1983 with the remarkable funk track "You Got Your Magic Working," which she released independently. After that, she seemed to vanish, until she made a cameo in a Country Music International article in June 1996, titled "Cathie Stewart - Whatever Happened to…". It turns out she and her husband Brian sought refuge in the pristine air of Whitehorse, Yukon.-Robert Williston

Real Name:Win Schell ... He played the southwestern Ontario folk circuit in the late 1960s and early 70s. His two albums never became best-sellers, but they maintained enough of a following to make the leap to the digital world and on the want list of many record collectors who seek out original vinyl pressings of his first 2 albums. The second album, 1976's City Wilderness, features more conventional folk. It's easily recognized by its cover, a Robert Crumb-influenced drawing of downtown London, Ontario with Win and various real-life city characters transformed into cartoon animals. Roger Baker, a friend of Win's, created the image.

Well known for his participation as a guitarist on Bob Dylan’s “Blood On The Tracks” 1974 Minnesota recording sessions. Kevin Odegard has released two albums; The self-titled Kevin Odegard on Wooff (1971) and Silver Lining on ASI Records (1975). Silver Lining is a well polished album compared to his debut album. Widely influenced by country, folk and pop music of the 1970’s, Silver Lining is a fine example resembling mid 1970’s singer-songwriter music. It is supported by the famous Bob Rivkin (Bobby 'Z') and David Rivkin with a production credit by David Zimmerman.

And Evan Williams of Harvest Flight (the ever-present man on this label) has a couple ballads heightened by his trademark psychy ambience. Recorded August 22, 1968 in Humanitarian College in Santa Fe, New Mexico, almost during the sermon that proclaimed the Rev. Ken Friedman, and issued privately, the mega-rare, a single drive, as the name implies, and other accompanying attributes, the author of an unknown group, which has a direct relation to the "Liberal Religious Youth" (the so-called more and the band) - established in 1954, autonomous youth organization in North America, in turn, associated with the Unitarian universalist Association (UUA). Even though it's a self-produced disc that isn't even obvious, the quality is high enough that it's no wonder even if it comes from a major folk label. The recorded songs are half of the original and the other half are faint, and it is a cover of famous SSW songs such as Jessie Winchester, Joni Mitchell and Guy Clark

The Old Dog bluegrass band probably got a chance to release a Flying Fish record thanks to the presence in the band of dobro wizard Mike Auldridge, whose own recordings were some of the most popular in the progressive bluegrass genre of the time. When the group itself failed to make much of a splash, the recording was later reissued with the dobro picker's name added in front. While Old Dog makes a lie of its name with progressive intentions from time to time, the type of cutting-edge "newgrass" picking that Auldridge can be a master of is not really the theme here....

Mr. John Edward Prine from Maywood, Illinois, USA was a great American bluegrass and country singer-songwriter and guitarist. A member of Chicago's folk revival, mr. Prine credited film critic Roger Ebert and singer-songwriter Kris Kristofferson with discovering him, resulting in the production of Prine's eponymous debut album with Atlantic Records in 1971. The acclaim earned by this LP led Prine to focus on his musical career, and he recorded three more albums for Atlantic. He then signed with Asylum Records, where he recorded an additional three albums. In 1981, he co-founded Oh Boy Records, an independent record label with which he would release most of his subsequent albums ....

Ross Edwin Ryan (born 13 December 1950, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas) is an Australian singer-songwriter and producer. His signature tune, "I Am Pegasus", was released in September 1973, which peaked at No. 9 on the Go-Set Top 40 Australian Singles. Its parent album, My Name Means Horse, appeared in April 1974, which reached No. 3 on the related Go-Set Top 20 Australian Albums. Ryan's other Top 40 singles are "I Don't Want to Know About It" (July 1973) and "Blue Chevrolet Ballerina" (June 1975)
